No I have come across it before, and I cannot find him here:

so there is some sort of typo.
The pictures were taken during Operation POST MORTEM, and a WAG is, that he was the GYGES 1a. But during the Operation a lot of personnel were brought in from all over Germany to assist, so he need not be part of the GYGES establishment.

Einige dieser Bilder kamen mir sehr bekannt vor...
Sie tauchen teilweise auch in Carsten Petersens "Luftkrig over Danmark" (Bind III) auf...
...so auch das "Mannheim"-Foto.
Ich habe das Buch mal überflogen, aber den Namen des Oberst habe ich dort nicht gefunden.
Ich habe mal die Frage nach diesem Oberst im "FdW" eingestellt. Mal schaun...

Edzard oder Viek?
Das Problem ist dass Oberst Edzard Fliegerhorstkommandant war, aber Oberst Viek war chef von Gyges/JaFü Dänemark. Ob es Edzard oder Viek ist kann ich nicht Beurteilen.
