FuMG Freya ???

If you have a look here

you'll see a Freya with the above designation. It is clearly a version of a Freya LZ C, but the reflector differ in that the main supporters (braces) do not extend to the edge.
For 25 I have had the picture 033 LZ C taken at STAR in my collection, and hitherto it is the only photo of this type I have ever come across. But as any die-hard Ln-Nerd will know we have to be patient and sharp-eyed, and just the other day a second picture surfaced at an e-bay auction. Please see Freya LZ C e-bay.

Hi SES!

Ich kann zwar nichts zum Freya sagen, aber mir ist etwas aufgefallen.

Bei dem Soldaten links ist auf deinem und auf meinem Bild eine gewisse
Ähnlichkeit vorhanden. Der Soldat auf meinem Bild soll sich etwa ab
Herbst 1943 im Bereich des Stollbergs (nördlich Bredstedt) aufgehalten
haben und gehörte angeblich zu einer Freya-Besatzung.

Weisst du wo dein Bild gemacht wurde?

Hi Rolf,
No unfortunately I don't know where the picture was taken. But a radar of that type was present at STAR, when the war ended, and this is the only place where I have come across it.
