Jägerleit Stellung Sellerie-Y
Hi All,
Below there are some photos from my visit in the 17. Jägerleit-Kompanie Sellerie-Y
The station is located in a large forest complex near Szczecin (Stettin).
During the war, it was equipped with 5 sets of FuSAn-733 (Heinrich + Hans).
I managed to find 5 foundations for towers Heinrich Peiler, a water tank and some brick rubble.
Best Regards,
CoVoX

Hi SES,
There are 5 sets of foundations:
- 3 sets of 4 small concrete socles (square 60 x 60 cm)
- 2 sets of 4 medium concrete socles (square 90 x 90 cm)
Each socle has 2 bolts (diameter 2 cm).
The distance between bolts is 30 cm.
Best Regards,
CoVoX

What is the distance between the sockles in the small and medium?

Hi SES,
The distance between neighbouring socles is 690 cm, whereas between opposite is 980 cm.
Measurements were made in centres of socles.

Hi CoVoX,
congratulations to your finds
The fundaments can be hardly something else than relics of Heinrich towers, nevertheless, I can see remarkable differences in the shape and distance of the socles in comparison with those measured by beaviso at "Stoppelrübe" and by myself at "Pegasus".
I've two theories: either this is
- an older or "economy" version of socles,
or
- it is an example of fundaments for Heinrich towers "fat" alias "heavy" version (with the complete hut on the top of the tower.) This second idea is rather wild, but if I take into consideration, that for "heavy" version the vertical elements of the construction are in more upright position than for "thin" version, it doesn't seem to be impossible. Are there any traces of small building on the ground between the socles, please?
thanks for Your pictures and measurements,
paw

I guess that by 980 cm CoVoX had in mind diagonal distance, so, with generous help of Mr. Pythagoras, we can call the pattern "almost" square (I hope I didn't misinterpret Your figures, CoVoX .SES hat geschrieben: Do you mean that the four sockles form a rectangular pattern.
