Ehemalige NATO DEB Richtfunkrelaistelle Stocksberg

Ich hab in meinen alten Bildern noch ein paar Aufnahmen (2002) der ehemaligen Richtfunkanlage Hohenstadt - Stocksberg - Königstuhl/Heidelberg gefunden die ab 2006 nicht mehr genutzt wurde. Seit 2007 ist sie abgebaut und die Fläche renaturiert.

vielen Dank für die Bilder, dank deinem Beitrag hab ich mir den mittlerweile unnötigen Weg nach Stocksberg gespart.

Ich war Oktober 25 mal wieder dort… wirklich platt grüne Wiese im Wald…. Als W15 stand ich mit dem Funkkoffer 88 und 89 regelmäßig bei Übungen als CENTAG Richtfunker für die Pershing-Brigade dort

Sir, Great information.... I was a US Soldier their 74-76.... When we were there there we were a Radio Relay (Microwave) site for support of the Missile units across the country. Whats interesting is a fellow member sent me some aerial photos and it appears there was no site there until after 1968. When I was there we had a new tower installed (very large and high) so I am surprised that there are no photos etc... Just would be great to hear from fellow soldiers and German friends we had when we were there. I know some would probably be gone now especially the contractors that put up the tower as some of them were WW2 vets, believe it or not. By the way a great story there! Ha!
