Funkmeßbeobachtungsstelle KOMET - IV./LNR 351 ?
Hi,SES hat geschrieben:Hi Eric,
Thank you very much for this additional info. "Delmenhorst" is a frequent visitor in PRO, he just might have the file. It's interesting that is was closed for so long. We are all holding our breath regarding your new location.
This battery thing happened to me this winter, I had to put it in my pocket to warm it up in order to squeeze out a few milli-amphs. My new camera will also take AA-bats.

While Delmenhorst is looking through his files here are the extracts from another UK report.
In the same report it is mentioned that 1.Zug/1.Kp/Ln-Rgt 359 was called Funkbefehlsstelle Ruhr.

Hi SES
What a thrilling paper.
But my eyes seem to be too misty... to read the inscriptions in the Niederrhein area. Ok, Aldekerk is quite easy to read, but what about 14./351, 4./357 and all the troops around the Reporting Centre 2?
I´m asking myself where this RC 2 could have been...
Cheers, Eric
BTW: I have until now not the slightest idea where the so called stations Venlo Bönninghardt and Birten exactly have been. Even our specialist in this regions havn´t any more information. You, Michael, know my source: it´s from "Die Stegskopfer"

Hi Eric,
Thank you. RC 2 = Meldekopf 2 was in Limburg, please see:
http://www.gyges.dk/Ln%20FunkAufkl%20Op ... er%204.pdf
I have worked my way through the report and the maps, and this is the result, I can see that I need to make a few corrections:
http://www.gyges.dk/FunkAufk%20org%20de ... er%203.pdf
I have most of the locations on the above chart.
14/351 was at Hohe Bracht.
Yes I thought Wir Stegskopfer might be the source, but I asked because a different source would be a confirmation. Common intel practice .

Moin,
