The REAL GefStd of II JK
The REAL GefStd of II JK
I thought I had found the location of GefStd II JK, which I posted on my WEB-site. I was wrong as a French local historian has pointed out and throughly documented. But as have said several times "My purpose is not to be right, but to get it right" so I am deeply endebted for all the materiel provided enabling me to present the REAL GefStd of II JK http://www.gyges.dk/bunker%20II%20JK%20ny.htm
The former bunker has now moved to the Mystery section
http://www.gyges.dk/bunker%20II%20JK.htm and I would be greatful for any help I can get to identify the unit which utilized this bunker.

Hi SES
HQ from 15.9.43 at Chantilly near Paris, then in 8.44 moved to Rochefort (Belgium) and 10.9.44 to Flammersfeld near Koblenz, better near Altenkirchen in the wonderful Westerwald.
(Oh du schöner Westerwald
Über deine Höhen pfeift der Wind so kalt
Jedoch der kleinste Sonnenschein
Dringt tief in’s Herz hinein...)
Disbanded 26.1.45, and used to form 14. and 15. Flieger-Divisionen.
I'm troubled a little bit that the HQ from 9/44 till 1/45 was in such a small village.
Maybe its not difficult to get the information about the correct location...

Hi Eric.
Thank you. As for the location I've stopped being surprised. Only recently a good friend of mine directed me to a cellar under a resturant, which had been the GefStd of a JD for 6 month. The first bunker which I found in the Chantilly area was unknown by the local historians, which had WW 2 as their field of expertice. I sat here more than 1000 km away and guided them through remote control to the bunker . My new French friend has not stopped celebrating yet. He had a terrible headache 1 JAN.

And wouldn't I love for you to find the exact spot - again!

Hello S.E.S.
You are right about the bunker in Driebergen , but
that one is build in "A" walls of 3.50 meter.
Normaly the bunkers are build in "B" 2.00 meter and
then the Driebergen bunker is smaller .
The bunker was build in end 1943 maybe it is a
forrunner one the bunkers at Chantilly and Joux-en-Joses.
The bunker at Chantilly was operational I think , that why it was
blown up inside.
In Joux-en-Joses was only build in concrete , not fitted with
any equipment.
Regards Jos
