It was quite an extraordinary site, as it was placed close to Führerhauptquartier "Wolfsschanze".
Besides, my suggestion is to repeat the sites placed near the eastern border of the original map from page 1, onto the map from page 2, to show all Jagdschloss sites within presented area. I mean: LIEBENBERG, STIEGLITZ, KM-Swinoujscie, and a couple of "Czech" sites.
Plus, please correct "Gydinia" into Gdynia. The city I was born in

Neither have I. It looks like an US Army soldier is standing nearby? This is a very important picture as it proves that non-standard JS foundations might have existed.SES hat geschrieben:It depicts a version of a JS building, which I have never seen before.
When ZF discovered the information proving that JS was installed from Sept'44 at LEOPARD, me and Czarek started discussion regarding JS buildings. We know LEOPARD site really well and there is one place we used to call "former Jagdschloss", having literally no evidence. There are no bricks (might perhaps have been salvaged for reuse), and the concrete remains are too small for a typical JS like the KM one in Gdynia. But its location fits well for a radar, not some other building. That's why we are now sure it was the place where the JS was installed, as found in documents by ZF. But, at the same time, we are almost sure that it wasn't raised on the typical foundation. Czarek sent me some other example of "temporary" JS foundation found in the literature.
Brgds,
M.
