concentric cable and coaxial cable are not the same.
coaxial cable is the definition for highfrequency cables.
Concentric cable is a fabrication form for power- or telecomunicationcables. Symetric arrangement of cable cores around one inner core.
For example see a of the first TV-broadbandcables FK 504 Berlin -Frankfurt. Around the inner core (coaxial), there were a lot of cable cores for telecommunication, symetrical arranged.

For technical details and use – I think that You are right!
I do not know how this cable looks inside – I did not cut it.
I am not collecting such items, just for reference I took a few pictures.
Maybe it is some kind of radio transmission cable, so in fact coaxial

Hi CoVoX, do you habe more picture? Possible it is a kind of plugset. What is this in your last picture. It looks like a concentric cable: pipe in a pipe (Hohlleiterkabel=waveguide?)
