Unterstand für Wassermann-M
Unterstand für Wassermann-M
Ich suche Information über dem Unterstand (Sockel) für Wassermann-M Anlage. Danke für Ihre Hilfe.
I'm desperately looking for info (photos, schemes) of a foundation for Was-M. Some time ago SES sent me photos of such cross-shaped main object with 3 cube-socles for anchors, but I still do not know if it was typical or "sonder" construction? I have visited 3 times a radar site which had a Wassermann (most likely M) and have not succeeded in finding any remains of it. There is something suspicious, which looks like a collapsed small building with thick concrete roof covered with tar, placed on a very unusual piece of open field. This piece of field is perfectly rectangular and just a little step higher than the rest of the field. But it may be seen even on satellite photos. Unfortunately, it is too big to hide an underground L480, but who knows
Thanks for any hints,
Michal

Hi Michal,
To the best of my knowledge the Was M I and II used the same foundation. I have a type drawing and I've found 7 samples in Denmark all alike. I know of one in France of the same model, so I find it safe to assume that this was the standard.
A L 480 supported a Wasserman S. Only 10 of these were built and thay are all accounted for in Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands so I would not expect to find a Wasserman S/L 480 combination in Poland.
