Hi All,
A few years ago in Stellung Tatzelwurm I have found mysterious foundations.
I have visited over 100 radar stations, but I had never seen such thing before.
It is concrete slab with 4 sets of 4 screws. This object was for sure the part of radar station.
Freya, Wassermann and Würzburg-Riese radars were located in the different places.
Maybe Jagdschloss?!

CoVoX

Hi CoVoX,
Interesting pictures indeed.
werd do yet get the last picture? It seems it is a Jagdschloss for quick movement or for no long staying at one point. Or it was a very quick installation with no time for built concrete houses.

Hi Micheal,
looking again to the picture it seems that the originals buildings are totaly destroyed. And the antenna is also a little damaged. Or it could be a second or repaired antenna after the air attack. There are 2 sticks holding the antenna.

Hi Cremer,Cremer hat geschrieben:... There are 2 sticks holding the antenna.
I think, the two "sticks" are two corner studs or posts ("Eckposten") for the structure underneath. That they are actually supporting the antenna is an illusion. The studs are protuding, because the front part (facing viewer) of the ceiling has partially collapsed, giving only the impression or illusion that the studs are now supporting the antenna. But if you look closely, the studs are quite far apart from even touching the antenna.
Assuming the antenna is mounted and positioned this way in the center of the stucture, the studs are a little more then half the length of the side walls away from the antenna and this way will not even support the protruding parts of the antenna. Unless of course the antenna is somehow turned and the "wings" get to stop over the corner studs. And yet there would be a 80 - 100 cm clearance from the bottom of the wings to the cieling/ roof surface (and the studs).

Hi CoVoX!
Was it near the command-post?
At STAR (not the one in Poland, but in Germany) they planned a tower next
to the "T-hut"-command-post. Please see plan.
The T-hut wasn't build in this kind of style, but a tower was still build next to
the command-post, but without any bolds.
Light Flak, R/V, look-out... I don't know for sure...
Maybe the tower was build for the Scheinwerfer-Abteilung, which was there
before it became STAR, as a look-out.
Best wishes
Rolf
