Hi Beate,
I am trying to find out where it was. You will get an answer.
By the way: I have seen a youtube-movie about an attack on Den Helder from a RAF plane flying near a lighttower.

Den Helder-Holland- Marine Flakbatterie Vangdam
Hi Beate,
I got a fast answer from the owner of www.fortendenhelder.nl but he took his site off the web.
The picture is from Marine Flakbatterie Vangdam (W.N. 104 M.)
M. Fl.A 808 Marine Flak Batterie Vangdam
Ref./
During the war, Vangdam was a small island that served as the site of a German navy anti-aircraft battery. Four 10.5-cm cannon were positioned beneath shielding that protected them from falling grenade shells and inclement weather. The complex was laid out as a grid with four peripheral artillery emplacements and thirteen personnel shelters that housed a garrison of about two hundred men. A heavy concrete type FL351 bunker was to have replaced the brick and concrete fire control post but this was never built. The complex also included two storage spaces, a mess hall and three water tanks. German prisoners of war who were put to work clearing mines, were housed in the battery after the war. The entire battery was demolished in the 1950s during the construction of the Nieuwe Haven [New Harbor].
